Hotel
We would appreciate you complying with the following points for the health and safety of our group and for the convenience and comfort of the rest of the guests staying at the hotel. It is important to respect their needs for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Dress appropriately inside the hotel (for example with shirt and shoes).
Please do not slam doors or behave noisily in the hotel corridors.
It is forbidden to jump on the beds.
Please dispose of litter in the bins provided.
No ball games are allowed in or around the hotel.
Please report any problems or damage in your hotel room immediately to a chaperone to avoid any misunderstanding.
External telephone calls may not be made.
Students must stay on assigned floor at all times.
In order to prepare for the following day, beginning at 9:30 PM students will be required to return to their rooms and have 30 minutes of quiet time. Students should be ready for bed, engaged in a silent activity (reading, listening to music at a low volume with headphones, or drawing).
Lights out at 10:00, no exceptions. At this time students must go to sleep.
Hotel rooms will be left in the neat condition they were found.
Before lights out and after the wake-up call, all room doors must be propped open. Chaperones may enter at any time. You may change in the privacy of your bathroom.
If we are able to use the pool, students must act safely in that area. Students must be accompanied by a CMRCPS chaperone. There is no running. Shirts and shoes must be worn to and from the pool. Students without permission to use the pool will not be permitted in the pool area.
Museum
Conduct
Please follow the directions of the Museum staff.
Students must work quietly and in their assigned museum group.
Please be aware that other school groups will be sharing your exhibition space. It is very important that students be quiet and respectful of other classes.
Groups are expected to remain quiet and in their seats during the Planetarium show. Persons having to leave while the show is in progress will not be readmitted to the theater. Flash pictures and video cameras are not permitted in the Planetarium.
Students discovered separated from their assigned museum group or found disturbing other visitors will be asked to leave and not permitted to return. No refunds will be granted.
Running, yelling, listening to radios, eating outside designated areas, and chewing gum are not permitted.
Touchable and non-touchable objects
To make the Museum as realistic and
enjoyable as possible, many of the artifacts, paintings and murals throughout
the Museum are not protected. This does not mean they are touchable objects.
Please understand that these objects suffer if handled by our millions of
visitors each year. Throughout the Museum, we have highlighted touchable objects
for your enjoyment.
We have read and agree to the above expectations in the behavioral contract.
